CHRIS COVEY | Senior Vice President, Transactions

Chris Covey directs HCP’s acquisition function and is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing all new investment properties.  Chris has more than 20 years of experience in investment and structuring transactions in retail real estate and has extensive national relationships with brokers, owner, lenders and capital sources.  Before joining HCP in 2019, he worked at public retail REIT’s InvenTrust Properties and Kimco Realty.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Illinois with two BS Degrees in Accountancy and Finance.
